High School – H2AC

Hydrogen Horizon Automotive Challenge is designed to allow high school students to acquire the skills necessary to take a custom-built RC-car from the conceptual and design stages through prototyping, experimentation, manufacturing and racing. These students work collaboratively, not just under the supervision of their respective faculty advisors, but also alongside engineering undergraduates from local universities who provide expertise and guidance. Additionally, leading industry professionals provide access to high-tech tools, enabling students to develop career relevant skills over the course of this program.

University – Various Challenges

The H-500XP and H-1000XP fuel cells stacks were specifically designed to be both light weight and high performance. The XP-series are commonly used in R&D projects and university mobility challenges, continuously winning awards and podium places in international competitions. Applications to date are anything from golf carts, snowmobiles, light mobility and the hydrogen fuel category at the Shell Eco Marathon. Note: these R&D projects and engineering programs are neither initiated nor managed by Horizon.
