The H-1000 PEM Fuel Cell (1kW) delivers high-performance hydrogen power for advanced system integration, real-world STEM projects, and demanding field applications. Horizon Educational also offers monitoring software and a compatible PC controller, allowing users to explore performance metrics in real time. For voltage flexibility, a DC/DC converter is available to support your custom output needs.

Safety Requirements

Do not connect or disconnect power cables when the fuel cell stack is turned on. Warranty is void if the fuel cell stack is disassembled or otherwise altered. Hydrogen is a colorless, odorless, and flammable substance.  Always operate and store the fuel cell stacks and hydrogen storage canisters in an area with ample ventilation. Fuel cell systems should always be equipped with a highly accurate hydrogen sensor to detect any leaking hydrogen within the system or from the hydrogen storage canister. Please refer to the H-1000 User Manual to see a complete list of the safety requirements for the product.
